New Flying Bibleman Announced!
It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of a new ‘Flying Bibleman’ to take over from me in late February, 2011.
David Curtis comes to the Bible Society with extensive experience living and working in remote aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities.
He is a graduate of Geelong Bible College as well as holding a Diploma in Mission Aviation from the Australian Centre for Mission Aviation.
David has worked with Government departments, indigenous enterprises and with MAF in Central Australia.
David’s wife, Ruth, is an Enrolled Nurse who has graduated from the Bible College of Victoria. She is also qualified to teach English as a second language to adults.
Their children, Jessica (11), Jared (10) and Nicole (7) are keen to follow Jesus and love the Bible. They are looking forward to helping their parents as they support remote area churches.
Please pray for the Curtis family during this time of transition and that they will have a long and fruitful ministry.
